Home - inspired by this place is a new venture in a new location from designedmade inc, - a reimagining of their popular makers market formerly held in the Ballroom of the Hobart Town Hall each December.

Part exhibition, part design pop-up, Home features the work of some of Tasmanian best designers and makers working across jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles, furniture and printmaking to produce a diverse range of sculptural and functional objects for the home and to wear.

There is a collective approach to sustainable practices and the retention of traditional manufacturing in the production of works that are both skilful and innovative, and which also consider the question of how and where we live, can inspire what we make and use.
